Creating spaces for community
Life is hard, Jesus said it would be (John 16:33). It's a whole lot harder when we try to do this life without community. Creating spaces where women can connect at a self-defense class or around the bonfire on a summer night creates opportunities to rub shoulders with others who are also navigating the busyness of having a young family, the newness of being alone, the tension of parenting grandchildren, the broken expectations of singleness, the _____________________ (fill in the blank).
So while the event might be decorating Christmas cookies or the roadtrip to a weekend retreat, creating spaces for community is something we are intentional about.

Growing in knowledge
Growing in knowledge, in our heads and hearts,
of the Bible and applying it to our lives.
The goal being that we would be curious about who God is and what He said in His love letter to us. But it doesn't stop there, as we lean into scripture, our heads and our hearts will begin to change.
We then become curious on how a letter written thousands of years ago is applicable, more than ever, to our lives, our families, our workplaces, our neighborhoods, our best days, our worst days - our story.
